Olive oil or extra virgin olive oil ?

 


Too often in ordinary everyday language we speak of olive oil improperly , classifying it as the best oil on the market.  This is a big mistake.  This product that shows obvious echoes of the natural quality of the fruit (the olive),  offers  really very little.
In fact, this oil is obtained  by blending refined olive oils and  virgin olive oils, which is an end product of the refining industry that has lost all of nutritional and organoleptic characteristics  which are typical of an extra virgin olive oil. Check  the label !
